L’Asia e’ senza dubbio il continente che presenta la piu’ grande varieta’ sotto tutti i punti di vista… non che’ il piu’ grande del mondo! Uno dei paese piu’ sviluppati al mondo, il Giappone, vive fianco a fianco con uno dei paesi piu’ poveri al mondo. Lo stato piu’ popoloso in assoluto, la Cina, e’ vicinissimo a quello piccolissimo di Singapore. L’Asia e’ anche il continente con il maggior numero di religioni. E come si puo’ facilmente immaginare, e’ anche la patria di tutti i luoghi turistici possibili ed immaginabili: culture esotiche, dalle tradizionali aree rurali della China agli eccessi metropolitani di Tokio; dai paradisi culinari del Sudest Asiatico alle idilliache isole dell’ Indonesia; dalle spiagge incantevoli di Goa alla culla della civilizzazione della Mesopotmia. Im Gegensatz zu einigen anderen Fahrern, die wir dort erlebten, war Raja sehr diskret und zurückhaltend. Er war nur da, wenn wir ihn brauchten. Raja spricht natürlich perfekt englisch und er lernt schon seit einiger Zeit deutsch. Sein Van ist in einem ordentlichen Zustand und von den Hotels, die er aussuchte, waren wir ausnahmslos begeistert. Recently we returned from a four-day trek with a friend in the Annapurna Himalayan range.
