fantastic hip place with lots of fancy shops and stalls.
Such a fun, lively place to stroll - get just about anything here, from mod memorabilia to great music.
This is a good place to pick up cheap, Chinese-made fashion items (especially punkier stuff). There are also a lot of piercing studios in the shops, as well as a decent selection of shoe stores. The section of the market near the canal has a lot of pretty decor items imported from SE Asia, as well as a small international food court.

Plunder, Kitsch und gute Stimmung. Straßenmärkte gehören zu London wie das typische Regenwetter. Zwischen Asia-Bistros und Trödelhändlern findet fast jeder Besucher etwas brauchbares ...und wenn es nur ein Nasenring ist der in der Disco leuchtet. Wo sich früher alles um das zeitgemäße Fortbewegungsmittel 'Pferd' drehte, trifft man heute den anständigen Punker mit Frau und Kind und bekommt von ihm, im freundlichen Beratungsgespräch bei einer Tasse Tee, die aktuellsten Tattoo-Trends des Jahres präsentiert. London ist verrückt, Camden ist verrückter. Ein Muss, nein, ein Pflichtbesuch für alle 'Brit-Popper' und 'Sex-Pistols-Jünger' die 'Soho', 'Covent Garden' und 'West End' schon in- und auswendig kennen. Mein Tipp: Mit dem Boot nach 'Camden Town' fahren, z.B. ab der 'Warwick Avenue'. Die Fahrt auf dem 'Regent's Canal' ist bei Sonnenschein ein weiteres Erlebnis und führt u.a. durch den 'Regents Park', den 'London Zoo' und endet schließlich in 'Camden Lock'. Aussteigen ...und ab geht der Punk!
Sonntags fährt keine Tube von Camden Town ab, man kann dort nur aussteigen!
