Montmartre is the quintessential right bank Parisian neighborhood. You may recognize this hilly part of town from Amelie, and some popular local attractions include the Basilica of Sacre Coeur, which looks over a small square filled with artists. It's touristy, but lovely.

The church care taker is rather rude. He simply pushed to warn you of not taking pictures. Maybe he has a bad day but that is unacceptable to an ignorant tourist!
