A Weekend in Miami

Make sure that you check into a hotel that will allow you to be conveniently located near South Beach to make the most of your weekend in Miami. The Kent and the Sacamore hotels located near Collins Ave offer exquisite rooms decorated in Art Deco style. Located on South Beach, the Century hotel has comfortable and trendy rooms, as well as an amazing Art Deco facade. These places are excellent in terms of location for a short trip to Miami.

Wondering what to do in Miami? Having ensconced yourself in one of these Art Deco gems, explore the nearby Art Deco district, with its pastel houses and painted facades. The Hotel Marlin has one of the most striking facades in the city.

From here, head down to Little Havana, Miami's Cuban hub, to take in the culture of one of Miami's largest populations. Browse the art galleries, bookstores, and cafes, and grab a meal at one of the amazing Cuban eateries here. At night, head to Mango's Tropical Café for some Latino style partying until the early hours.

Have breakfast the next morning at the News Café before making your way to the Fairchild Tropical Gardens to take in over 5000 varieties of exotic tropical plants. Or for another outdoor excursion, take a trip to the Florida Everglades, tropical marshlands where you can spot all sorts of tropical birds and animals.

Come back in the evening and dine at the Versace House. If you are in for something less opulent, go for the 11th Street Diner, with its 50's throwback vibe.

Wrap up your weekend in Miami by partying in some of the glamorous clubs on South Beach. The Rose Bar is not to be missed, while the Globe Café and Bar has been a fixture of the Miami nightlife scene for decades.
