This castle, which was probably built in around 1200, was home to the dukes of Völs. Today's defensive castle was designed in 1517 by Leonhard von Völs. The exhibitions, including a collection of weaponry in the Pfeilersaal, and the late-Gothic decor in the chapel are well worth seeing.
