Rouvesi is an idyllic spot in the area of Lake Näsijärvi. The famous poet, Johan Ludvig Runeberg was once a private tutor here. There are several sights: the pretty, yellow-painted wooden church was built in 1778 and the local history museum, one of the country's oldest, shows 23 historic buildings.
