Eisbach-Surfer

Cult! Since the 1970s cool neoprene heroes surf in the waves at the man-made Eisbach River, just like in the surf off Hawaii. Not easy to find: take a walk along the Prinzregentenstrasse street of town (right by the huge and ugly Haus der Kunst) -- then one is already on dry land. The cluster of people gathered near the bridge parapet marks the exact spot.
