Ban Hua Thanon

Ban Hua Thanon is an attractive rambling village with wooden shop- houses and kwaytio stalls – and the only Muslim community on Koh Samui. The forebears of the inhabitants come from Pattani in Thailand’s far south. With its stony beach being the biggest anchorage for fishing boats on the island, this village is quiet and rarely visited by tourists. North of the village are a couple of restaurants, well situated with cooling sea breezes .
