Imlil, 17 km south-southeast from Asni, is the most important village of the Aït Mizane Valley. At an altitude of 1790 m, it is the start of the walks in this area and is also a good place to hang out for a while. In the centre of the village is the car park/taxi area with the stone-built Club Alpin Français (CAF) hut at the corner of the road, guides hut and Café du Soleil. There are small cafés and shops, a good baker, a highly recommended spice shop and a travel agent. Mules are ‘parked’ to the south of the village. There is a utilitarian concrete route indicator on the right, should you be unsure of your direction. When you arrive, you may be besieged by lots of underemployed blokes, keen to help you in some way or other. The town’s hammam has been built with money from the kasbah and is recommended. Information in Imlil is available through the Hôtel-Café Soleil and at the CAF refuge.
The best and cheapest way to get Imlil is the grand taxi. It costs about 30 Dh. It only takes an hour and a half to get there and i thinks is the more genuine way to travel across Morocco.
When you arrive to Imlil there will be a lot of people offers you as a guide. If you are interested you must pay about 250 Dh but in my opinion it isn´t necesary. It´s very easy to find the right way to the Nesser Mountain Hut, you have cross the village in the right side of the valley, then crossing the dry river you must follow the way in the left side of the valley, it is very easy. There is no shadow so you must wear a cap and take with you a lot of fresh water!

Before going I was visiting photos and looking for a guide to Morocco to do me the path I wanted, which was going from Marrakech to the desert of Erg Chebbi (sorry the names of the places do not know if the write correctly) and sleep there one night in the desert. In the end I decided to write a moha, a guide to Merzouga, right from the first e-mails gave me good vibrations. Sent me a great route, including the gorges of the Draa, Dades and Tondra, visits to various towns as Agdez or Risani, and one night in the desert with a camel caravan and a mounted haimas about two hours on a camel. moha could not attend the first day, because he was with another expedition, but his colleague ali, served us very correctly, a boy of about 24, very nice and friendly, led us on 4x4 roads and tracks, to the desert. There was the crazy luck, where we stayed one night and leave the next day to the dunes. The old camel, is something that will stay in my mind forever, and the night sleeping in the desert contempland
