Unless you have a passionate interest in cement production, or have chosen a particularly circuitous train routing to reach a cricket match, there is little reason to stop here. However, if forced to stay overnight there are a number of reasonable hotels and an excellent restaurant (at Shyama Hotel) about 2 km from the railway station.
