Magnificent Lake Louise is the single most famous icon in the Rockies and consequently receives far more visitors than any place of natural beauty should have to endure. This is the only focus in the park other than Banff Townsite, with a better assortment of trails and things to see but far fewer facilities. There are actually four components to Lake Louise: the Village, the Lake, Moraine Lake and the Ski Hill.
