Sharing the same long north-facing beach as Busselton, Dunsborough is as much a holiday town as its neighbour, in fact more so for its proximity to Cape Naturaliste and the region’s main wine area. The beach remains shallow way out to sea and there are extensive grassed and bush foreshore areas that separate it from the town. Other than heading for the beach there is not a great deal to do in the town itself, and most visitors use it as a base to explore the northern part of the Capes region, dive the HMAS Swan and head out on the various tours.
