Walpole

Walpole is a tiny town, with the minimum of services, that sits on the northern shore of Walpole Inlet, itself a watery outpost from Nornalup Inlet. The main street shops hug one side of the highway, while the foreshore area is undeveloped. The scantiness of the town often causes travellers to suppose that the only reason to visit the area is the Tree Top Walk. In actual fact the natural forest and coastal attractions are such that many who come for a night end up staying several.
