Tucked just off the main road as the road forks to Arrochar, this humble dwelling that served as a school in WW2 is where weekend walkers and cyclists still come in their droves for a hearty cooked breakfast, toasties or cream tea (£3.50). Fantastic value and very friendly; just don’t expect silver service. Recommended.
