Brodick

Whether coming to play golf (there are seven courses), walk, climb or sample the ales, whisky and cheese produced by proud Arranachs, the largest town and port of Brodick is where most visitors step ashore. Lying in a ‘broad bay’, (hence its Norse name breidr vik), Brodick offers up guesthouses, eateries and shops but little of the scenic charm that awaits along the outlying winding roads.
