Pine Cay travel guide

Pine Cay is an 800-acre private resort owned by a group of homeowners who also own the exclusive 12-room Meridian Club . Day trippers are not encouraged although visitors may come for lunch at the restaurant by prior reservation as long as they do not use the facilities; the homeowners value their privacy and put a ban on visitors if they feel there have been too many. Pine Cay benefits from a few freshwater ponds and wells, so water is no problem and it is greener than Provo. On the other hand mosquito control is a constant problem. Nature trails have been laid out around the ponds and through the trees and there are tennis courts. There is an airstrip for guests who charter a flight, and a dock if they prefer to come in with the Meridian Club’s exclusive shuttle boat.
