Museo Nacional de Nicaragua

In the old centre of Managua near the lake shore, the attractive neoclassical Palacio Nacional de la Cultura, previously the Palacio de los Héroes de la Revolución, has been beautifully restored and houses the Museo Nacional de Nicaragua (Mon-Fri 0800-1700, Sat and Sun 0900-1600, US$2.25, includes a 20-min introductory guided tour in English and French) as well as the Archivo Nacional and the Biblioteca Nacional.
