Doctor’s Cave Beach

Doctor’s Cave Beach (Gloucester Av, daily 0830-1730, US$5, children under 12 half price) has underwater coral gardens, so clear that they can be seen without effort from glass-bottomed boats. It is relaxed and you can sunbathe quietly. Cornwall Beach is undergoing development and there are currently no facilities. The Walter Fletcher beach has been converted to the Aqua Sol Theme Park (T9799447, daily 0900-1700, US$5) the latest addition to the list of attractions, offering rides and sports facilities. Margaritaville (US$10) offers a mix of beach, bar, restaurant, rides, slides and various forms of entertainment. Scuba diving can be arranged through about a dozen operators, several of which have outlets at more than one hotel (single dive, US$45, a snorkelling trip US$25).
