It's a must to climb the waterfall of Ocho Rios
The scenery of the surrounding area is an added attraction. Most spectacular are the beauty spots of Roaring River Falls, and Dunn’s River Falls (T9744767, daily 0830-1600, US$15 adults, US$12 children, locker US$5, bath shoes US$5 (rental) but not necessary if you move with care) tumbling into the Caribbean with invigorating salt- and freshwater bathing at its foot. Get there early before the coach parties arrive; it’s a five-minute bus ride (US$0.20) from Ocho Rios, or one-hour drive from Montego Bay (beware of pseudo guides who hang around and take you somewhere totally different, then try to sell you marijuana). Opposite the entrance to Dunn’s River Falls is Dolphin Cove (T9745335, http://www.dolphincovejamaica.com, 0830-1730, US$45.00 entrance with tour, including interacting with stingrays and other activities, US$67 to touch the dolphins, US$119 to hold, feed and swim with sharks, US$129 to swim with one dolphin, US$195 to swim with 2 dolphins, entrance included in all programmes) a large dolphinarium where captive dolphins are taught tricks for the entertainment of tourists.
