Tulum

Everything you can ask for

What does your perfect destination look like? I guess it would be a place that's nearly always warm and sunny, and has a beautiful sandy beach. Then there would be palm trees with occasionally falling coconuts, and miraculous sun rises to contemplate on. You would sleep in cabanas during the night, and relaxing on hammocks during the day. An iguana should as likely come across your paths as a human being would, and finally, there would be some of the most beautiful Mayan ruins in the world right next to it. Too much to ask for? No, you have got it all here...Just pass the little Tulum town, and head to its beach. That's where paradise begins.

absolutely amazing - white sand, turquoise water, blue sky, ancient Maya ruins nearby! and much better than the touristy Cancun further north
