The tourist office (Hidalgo s/n, at the government offices, next to Casa de la Cultura (Centro Cultural El Carmen), T967-678 6570, Mon-Sat 0800-2100, Sun 0900-1400) is very helpful with all types of information and it provides good maps; usually someone there speaks English. The Municipal Office (on the main plaza, in the Palacio Municipal, T967-678 0665, daily, 0800-2000, English spoken) has a good free map of the area.
