This museum has a fine collection of works by Oaxacan artist Rufino Tamayo and shows contemporary Mexican and international painters. The building of glass and concrete was designed by González de León and Zabludovsky and won the National Architecture award. The interior space is unusual in that it is difficult to know which floor you are on. There is a very pleasant restaurant.
