Air

The airport (QTO) has flights to Guadalajara, Mexico City, Monterrey and San Luis Potosí. Continental has international flights to Houston, Texas.

Bus

The bus station is 5 km southeast of the centre, near Estadio Corregidora. Terminal A, modules 1 and 2, 1st class and plus;

Terminal B

, modules 3, 4 and 5, 2nd class. A new shuttle bus now runs twice daily from the airport directly to the central bus station. There are fixed-price taxis and buses; to confirm, you can pay in advance and ask for a receipt with the former; also holds true for travel from the airport. The bus station has luggage storage, restaurants (with a bar upstairs), travel agency, newsagents, telephones and toilets.

There are good connections with most towns on the US border if you are heading north. Likewise, if heading south, Querétero is a transport hub, with good connections. Car

There is a 4-lane motorway (Route 45) from Irapuato past Querétaro to Mexico City. The Mexico City motorway (Route 57) passes close to Tula and Tepozotlán, cost is US$13.30 from Mexico City through the Querétaro caseta (toll booth), US$4.20 from there to Salamanca.
