The Lion Park, en route to Lesedi, is worth a stop for the excellent photo opportunities. There are over 80 lions in the park, including many cubs and a rare pride of white lions. Although they are bred in captivity, they are well cared for and have ample room in the drive-through enclosures. The lions are accustomed to vehicles and don’t think twice about strolling right up to a car. Keep windows at least half closed. Other animals kept here include hyenas, cheetah and a variety of antelope and you can climb a tower to feed giraffes. Walks and close encounters with cubs are on offer.
