BONITO
You arrived at Bonito from Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul's main city (with active nightlife).
The great attractive of this region is the crystal water. There are a lot of caves, too. Bonito is very near Pantanal, a vast inundated region offers conditions to a lot of different species of animal. It's a sanctuary for birds and alligators. A paradise for fishing. In Bonito you can see too a lot of animals.
Bonito ís soil seems like a Swiss cheese, the earth veins pump crystalline waters all around; thus, in this region, there are endless options to dive, on fountains with crystal clear waters, extensive rivers, lakes (Misteriosa Lake) and lagoons, and the most radical, flooded caves (Mimoso Cave is fantastic). There are options to all level divers.
For who wants a radical experience, Abismo Anhumas is an incomparable adventure. By a strait opening on the floor it starts a 72m descending on rappel, down there a lake that has the size of a soccer field in which you can dive with autonomous equipment or just using mask and snorkel, and admire a great variety of rock formations, safe from de danger of technical dive.
