For a taste of older Argentine art, visit the Museo de Bellas Artes (Av del Libertador 1473, T011-4803 0802, http://www.mnba.org.ar, Tue-) Fri 1230-1930, Sat-Sun 0930-1930, guided tours Tue-Sun 1600, 1700, 1800, tours for children in summer Tue-Fri 1100, 1700, Sat-Sun 1700, free. There’s a fairly ordinary survey of European works, but some particularly good post-Impressionist paintings and fine Rodin sculptures. Best of all though, there is a varied collection of Argentine 19th- and 20th-century paintings, sculpture and wooden carvings.
