by Zenit Wikipedia

Bunessan is a village near to the west end of the Ross of Mull, which is the southernmost peninsula of the Isle of Mull. The village is small but has an atractive pebble beach where herons gather at low tide.

Howevr it is the beaches to the south, reached by following the small road behind the Argyll Arms Hotel that should be seen as the main attraction. With huge expanses of sand and views over other islands, they are as good as any in the UK but, particularly early in summer, you are likely to have one to yourself.
