The Chanin Building is a brick and terra-cotta Art Deco skyscraper constructed in 1929. Colored glass, stone and metal are all incorporated into the building's exterior, and the lobbies feature eight bronze reliefs designed by Rene Paul Chambellan. The dramatic crown at the top used to be illuminated at night.
