Built in true Art Deco fashion, The Majestic's signature features are the rounded tops on the wings of its towers. The Majestic is also known for being the home of the former heads of the Luciano crime family - in 1957, Vincent "The Chin" Gigante shot Frank Costello in the lobby of the Majestic in a failed assasination attempt.
