This restaurant of the cooler-than-thou Standard Hotel is surprisingly understated, channeling classic, American motifs for both its decor and its food. The inside is a relatively affordable place to eat, with many entrees under $20, but the biergarten outside is the place to be during the summer. Rows of tables are filled with a fun, rowdy crowd, many of whom jostle for a lone ping pong table that sees constant action. There are also pretzels and sausages to keep hunger at bay.
