Camden Lock

Camden Lock is a real, manually-operated lock on Regent's Canal, but the area around it has swelled to take advantage of the pretty views of the water - cafes and restaurants overflow with locals and tourists alike in the summer, as everyone gathers to drink in the sun and ridicule boats trying to pass through the canal. The ever-indie Camden Market is also nearby, a refreshing change from the commercial businesses you'll find crowding either side of the canal.
