Nightly bazaar with hundreds of vendors
Originally a meeting point for traders on the route between China's Yunnan Province and Burma, the Night Bazaar is now fairly touristy, with the extravagantly high prices to match. NEVER accept the initial price from a vendor, and always bargain hard! Everything from local handicrafts to designer clothing is sold here, but the atmosphere is far less chaotic than other markets.
