One of the best streets to hang around in Sao Paulo

Every big city has various great entertainment locations, but Rua Augusta (and its surroundings) is definitely standing out in Sao Paulo. This street offers everything you need to spend a great night in the Brazilian capital of food and fun. Start the afternoon doing some shopping, browsing the many cool products sold in Rua Augusta's stores, most of them from independent & local stylists. Afterwards enjoy a movie in the local cinema, since culture is never enough and the Unibanco Cinema offers a huge range of national and international films - but no Hollywood style movies.

Got hungry? Well the choice is overwhelming because in Rua Augusta and around, you will find any kind of food you are looking for - for any size of wallets. So it could be a fast Mexican taco at the Toloco, or a Greek Moussaka in the Athena bar, or even a full meat buffet in one of the coolest Churrascaria da cidade: Bovinus, not forgetting the classical beer and delicious “petiscos” (snacks) in almost every corner pub.

Now that you are well warmed up, it is time to have dance and listen to some good music! But it will be hard to choose where, because the options are close to infinitive. There is only one thing for sure: nobody will get disappointed, nobody will be bored! If you don't like the first place you choose, simply walk next door, and check whether the next club is closer to your music style. You will be amazed how one small area can offer you everything you craved for!
