This is an old water mill which has been turned into a dwelling, immediately north of Sappada. Several water mills used to line along the river Piave, using its stream to enpower human work on wood and grain. Locals brought their harvest here, and get the resulting flour directly from the miller. There still exist some mills in Sappada beyond the S'Jacklars, like the Sindar Mile along the national road downriver, the three-wheeled Milpar Mile, close to some small falls along the Mühlbach stream, or the Mulino Lanner at Ecche, which doesn't work any longer. The Lanner still keeps some iron forging machinery nearby.
