This legendary hotel on Sunset Boulevard has been hosting Hollywood's rich and famous ever since it opened its doors in 1912. Though it doesn't quite fit the mold of hotels usually associated with celebrities - indeed, the "pink palace" looks more like a beach house than anything else - every celebrity known to man has stayed in its bungalows and suites. Rooms can cost anywhere from a few hundred dollars to several thousand dollars, and even if you do manage to pony up the cash, you'll be subjected to a class system of sorts: in their card filing system, the Beverly Hills Hotel assigns white cards to regular people, blue cards to regulars, and pink cards to the elite. Otherwise you can always hang out in the Polo Lounge, a favorite haunt of many celebrities.
