Longwood Gardens is well worth a day trip if you're in Philadelphia. The garden is beautiful and varied. The indoor garden is alone worth a visit. During the Christmas season the garden is open for dinner and decorated for Christmas. There are then typically warm apple punch (no alcohol of course).
