Visiting Buenos Aires, Palermo is one of the neighborhoods you can't miss. Everyone should dedicate at least 2 days for Palermo since it is a very expansive area and there are many attractions to visit. The neighborhood is divided into Palermo Chico and Palermo Viejo - the first is one of the richest parts of Buenos Aires, with nice houses and an interesting museum, the MALBA, presenting painters from Latin America (the entry is free on Wednesday). This area is also famous for its huge parks: Zoological, Japanese (recommended!) and Botanic gardens. The best part of Palermo is Palermo Viejo, which includes Palermo Soho and Palermo Hollywood. Starting from Plaza Italia, you can walk all along Calle Borges until Plaza Serrano, where you will find nice shops of local stylists, everything being hip and cheap. Once in Plaza Serrano, don't leave before having a glass of wine and a nice dinner! Walking along Honduras street and crossing the railway (just 2 blocks), you will be in Palermo Hollywood, also very famous for restaurants and pubs.
