The Hotel Amadeus is a family run hotel situated in the heart of the old town of Salzburg, on the famous Linzer Gasse, a quiet yet atmospheric pedestrianised street with many shops and restaurants on its doorstep. The building is over 500 years old and has been lovingly restored by the owners to create an extremely welcoming and comfortable hotel that reflects its history and also blends contemporary influences to great effect. The rooms have been elegantly furnished with antique and modern pieces. The hotel offers double rooms available to book online at discounted rates, for single or double occupancy. Within 2 minutes you can be by the river Salzach, contemplating the domed rooves of the city's churches and cathedrals, with the ancient fortress towering down from the hill above.
