The Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten is a traditional-style, family-run Bavarian hotel, located directly opposite the train station and four kilometres from the Zugspitze. The Restaurant Hubertus offers an extensive range of international and authentic Bavarian dishes, served for breakfast, lunch and dinner in a relaxed and informal setting. Visitors are well placed to explore the many places of interest; Zugspitze, Germany's highest mountain is four kilometres from the hotel, the beautiful Ettal Monastery is 10 kilometres away, Linderhof Castle is 15 kilometres and Bad Tolz is 20 kilometres from the hotel. Those wanting to travel further afield can visit the beautiful city of Munich, or cross the border into Austria and visit Innsbruck, with its excellent ski links and lively atmosphere, both 75 kilometres distant. Munich Franz Josef Strauss Airport is 115 kilometres (72 miles) from the hotel, approximately 100 minutes by car.
