First opened in 1891, the Eurostars Park Hotel Maximilian is housed in an historic neo-Rococo building in the medieval town of Regensburg, one kilometer from the Royal Palace of Thurn und Taxis. The 52 guestrooms are decorated in Italianate style and all include cable TV, complimentary toiletries, wireless Internet access and minibars. For travelers arriving by plane, Munich Airport is 100 kilometers away. Commuter trains and buses connect the airport with Munich city center. From there, trains run to the railway station in Regensburg, five minutes walk from the hotel. Taxis are also readily available outside the terminal.
