It's not hard to find the Hotel Europa Salzburg, it's just across from the main train station, and also happens to be the tallest building in Salzburg, so you can always find your way back to the hotel easily! The Europa is a modern hotel with all the facilities you'd expect in a four star property, making your stay a comfortable one. At the Europa, every room has a view. By creating corridors on the North side of the building, the designers ensured that every guest can enjoy the superb view of the all the spires of the old town, the fortress and the mountains in the distance behind from their south facing rooms. Rooms above the 7th floor enjoy a truly unobstructed view. When not gazing out of the windows, you'll notice the stylish comfort of your room: all rooms were renovated in 2000 and boast individual climate control, minibar, desk, table and chairs, phone and satellite tv. The decor is simple and attractive, and the rooms are very quiet. Standard single rooms have a large bed, and some single rooms have a bathtub, though most have only shower. All double and twin bedded rooms have a bathtub, which also has a hairdryer for your convenience. There are 3 non smoking floors. The highlight of your stay will be taking breakfast in the restaurant on the 15th floor. Here you can make the most of the views over the old town and castle through the wall of glass, whilst enjoying a rich buffet breakfast (included in the price). This includes hot and cold food, a lovely selection of fresh fruits, salmon and prosecco. The restaurant is also open for lunch and dinner, and offers a selection of meat, fish, salads, vegetarian and dishes suitable for special diets. The hotel is only a five minute walk to the Mirabell Gardens and from there only a few more minutes across the bridges into the core of the old town, making this the ideal spot for any visit to Salzburg. For those who want to save their legs, the central bus station is just outside the hotel, and most buses go into the centre (you can buy a ticket from reception that allows free access on buses and entry to certain museums too!). NB. All rooms have en suite facilities
