This motel is located just 40 minutes from the entrance to Yosemite National Park. The Miners Inn Motel, Restaurant, and Lounge is located in historic Mariposa, nestled in the beautiful Sierra Nevada foothills, where the sun shines over 300 days a year, above the fog of the winter and below the snow. Mariposa was founded in the mid-1800s during the Gold Rush era and offers many points of historical interest including Mariposa County Courthouse erected 1854, Mariposa County History Museum, and California State Mining and Mineral Museum.
