Donner Lake Village Resort Truckee travel guide

The lakefront Donner Lake Village Resort is set amid pine trees in the old west-style town of Truckee, Calif. The resort is a few blocks away from downtown Truckee, loaded with shops and cafes. Ski resorts Sugar Bowl and Squaw Valley are both within 16 miles of the lodge. The Royal Gorge and ski slopes are 23 miles away. <br> The lodge offers a full service marina with water sport activities such as water skiing, boating and fishing. The on-site courtyard has barbecue grills and picnic tables. Complimentary coffee is available in the lobby. <br><br> The condominium-style guestrooms are located on two stories and feature separate living and bedroom areas. All 56 guestrooms include cable/satellite television, refrigerators, microwave ovens and coffeemakers. Other in-room amenities include DVD/VCRs and fireplaces. Some units have kitchens. All rooms have either balconies or terraces, some of which overlook the lake.
