The Hotel Parco Smeraldo Terme is right on Ischias popular Maronti Beach - 2 km long, plunged in a lush subtropical garden with direct access to the private beach. Just 8km - 15 minutes in a taxi, from Ischia Porto, the most important city of the island of Ischia, and 10 min with taxi-boat from Sant Angelo, the romantic and picturesque fishermans village. The water is kept at a constant temperature of 33 degrees C by adding spring thermal water at about 75 degrees C every day. A short stroll through the garden and terrace takes you down to the hotels private beach, with volcanic sand. The sea is deep and blue. The area is rich in thermal springs. The rooms are attractively furnished in a distinctive Mediterranean style featuring beech wood carved furniture and hand-painted terracotta. All rooms have en-suite bathroom or shower and amenities include hair dryer, direct-dial telephone, television, minibar, safe and air conditioning. The restaurant serves imaginative top-quality regional food prepared by using fresh, local ingredients. The menu includes a choice of 3 entrees and a vegetable-salad buffet and the wine menu has a wide selection of good italian wines. In the Spa you can choose from services include bath and mud therapy, to a range of massages for both arthrosis and arthritis, functional therapy for bone and joint or muscle and tendon injuries. The thermal water of the Hotels spring has healing properties for a number of skin problems, and is helpful also for beauty treatments.
