Crane Ridge Suites Ocho Rios travel guide

Perched above the beautiful resort town of Ocho Rios on Jamaica's north shore, an hour and a half east of Montego Bay is the 90-unit Crane Ridge Resort.

The Resort's situated on 19 acres of lush landscaped gardens with nine three-story residences surrounding a freshwater swimming pool, swim-up bar, whirlpool and bar. The hotel's open-air restaurant serves local and international specialties for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The chef is renowned for his mouth-watering pizza that has a special flare from the local spices and meats. There are also two tennis courts and a Day Spa.

For recreation there are two lawn tennis courts as well as table tennis. In addition to a variety of water sports, guests can hike the Blue Mountains, play golf at one of Jamaica's clubs and take a dip in or have an exhilarating climb of the world famous Dunn's River Falls. Our tour desk also arranges excursions of the entire island as well as day trips to Cuba.

There is also a Grogge shop on location for snacks and souvenirs. For more shopping, the Taj Mahal Shopping Centre is just 3 minutes away and the Island Village Entertainment & Shopping Center is a mere five-minute walk.

The accommodations at Crane Ridge feature large private or shared balconies with views of the Caribbean, the Ocho Rios coastline or the resort grounds and pool. Rooms are decorated with pastel tiles, light wooden furnishings and tropical prints. Amenities include satellite TV, individual climate control, spacious closets, in-room safes, irons & ironing boards, telephones and equipped kitchenettes available only in the One and Two Bedroom suites. Smoking rooms are available upon request.
