Duke Of Marlborough Hotel Woodstock (England) travel guide

A very good quality and well located hotel offering a friendly and efficient service.The pub is about as traditionally English looking as you can get and although the bedrooms are in a separte newer building it has been designed and built in an manor so as not to look out of place. The rooms are large, nicely set out and decorated in modern furnishings. All rooms are all ensuite and have exceptionally good showers with strong water pressure. The rooms all benefit from colour TV, Radio and direct Dial Phone. All the rooms are new and as such are in excellent condition. The rooms are situated in a block to the rear of the Duke of Marlborough Pub. There is no internal connection between the two. There is no restaurant as such as meals including breakfast are served in the Pub. There is a mix of cuisine served from traditional English to European. Beware the portions are HUGE!!!. The hotel has no lobby as such as you need to go into the Pub to collect your keys. Its a friendly family run Pub that welcomes children and offers excellent home cooked food.
