The five star H10 Playa Meloneras Palace is set in a modern building, surrounded by the small pebble beach of Las Meloneras, a 45 minute drive from the city of Las Palmas. Golf courses and the harbour are a ten minute drive away. The 376 guestrooms are decorated in soft colours and have their own balconies. All have bathrobes, minibars, Internet connections (fee), safes and electronic keys. <br> The whole complex features two large swimming pools with waterfalls, as well as a children's pool, all of which are set amongst landscaped gardens. There is also a sports center with tennis courts, archery, French bowls, giant chess, table tennis, snooker and darts. For relaxation, guests can try the spa, sauna - or gift shop. There are three eating options: the Tamadaba Restaurant, which has a buffet menu and show cooking, plus a special children's buffet; the smart Gaudi Restaurant, with its a la carte dining service; and, thirdly, the La Choza Restaurant, which serves lunch on the outdoor terrace beside the pool, with a salad bar and barbeque buffet. There is also a choice of three bars: the lobby bar; the Maspalomas Bar, a piano bar beside the hotel reception desk; and the poolside Tropical Bar. Gran Canaria Las Palmas is the nearest airport at 30 kilometers away, reached by car in 20 minutes.
