Award winning, AA 4 star Victorian guest house with spectacular sea and harbour views . The Collingdale in Ilfracombe is an award winning four star Victorian guest house, beautifully situated directly on the South West coastal path, with stunning views across the harbour and magnificent cliff top scenery of Hillsborough Nature Reserve. Just a few minutes walk to the beautiful historic harbour with its excellent selection of restaurants, shops, cafs and galleries and the ferry to Lundy Island. The town centre, Landmark Theatre and famous Tunnels Beaches are also within easy walking distance. All bedrooms are furnished to a high specification throughout with many thoughtful little extras. There is a cosy licensed bar and an elegant dining room serving freshly prepared home-cooked cuisine, using fresh local Devon produce as available. Relax on the sun terrace over-looking the harbour where you can enjoy your morning coffee or an aperitif in the evening. Our lovely garden has won Ilfracombe In Bloom in 2004, 2005 and 2007. Our rooms are situated over several floors, so we may not be suitable for guests with restricted mobility. Please advise at the time of booking if you would prefer a room on the lower floor and we will endeavour to meet your request. But for those of you happy to go to the top it will be worth the climb for the fantastic views!Sorry our accommodation is not suitable for children aged under 8 years of age.
