Expert Tip. Margaret Island is actually three small islands framed with a common shore, named after a 13th-century princess Margit who entered a convent here. The island is covered in varied parkland, with chestnut avenues, English and Japanese-style gardens, an open-air swimming complex, thermal springs, and an open-air theatre.
