Herregaard Hotel Arendal travel guide

The hotel was built in 1931, and it is one of the oldest hotels in the region. It is situated in idyllic surroundings only about 250 metres from Spornes beach, on the island Tromoy - practically on the threshold of the North Sea! All rooms have been refurbished during 2003/2004, and they are charming and comfortable, with light colours inspired by southern Norway and the sea. <br><br><br><br>The rooms are of different sizes, and are furnished with birch wood furniture and comfortable beds. All rooms are equipped with fridge and TV sets with ceefax. From the E18 follow signs to Arendal and Tromoy, and then follow signs to Tromoy. After crossing the Tromoy bridge, follow signs to Hove and Breidablikk. The hotel is situated about 9 kilometres from Arendal town centre, in idyllic surroundings only about 250 metres from Spornes beach.
